The event is scheduled for September 27th and it will be an exclusive event for upcoming Windows 8 tablets powered by Intel chips.
Many of the tablets were already revealed by their respective OEMs, and most have a release date for either much later this year or early next year.
Speakers from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung and ZTE are promised for the event and the chip maker is also expected to speak about the next-gen Clover Trail Intel Atom CPU.
Microsoft will unveil their ARM-based Surface tablets on October 26th.
