Samsung to release Tizen-based Galaxy phone?
According to reports, Samsung is looking into creating a Galaxy phone based on the Tizen operating system rather than its normal Android or Windows Phone.

Tizen is an open-source Linux-based mobile OS that mixes some aspects of MeeGo, Maemo and Bada.

There is no time frame for the phone except for "sometime in the future."

Most likely, the phone will not be released in the U.S., where there is very little chance of taking any market share in the market defined by Android and iOS. Tizen could, however, be successful elsewhere, given Samsung's popularity and marketing budget.

Why Why Why, I have a Nokia 900 running Maemo, which has been dropped for 18 or so months, no new apps and now they want to make a phone with another OS on. My Nokia is work..0 now and no updates
