Microsoft has confirmed it will support the Xbox 360 for three more years, and there will be at least 100 new games released for the console in that time period.

The bundles are as follows:

4GB Kinect Holiday Bundle

The Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle features two great games, Kinect Sports 2 and Kinect Adventures. It also includes 1 Month of Xbox Live Gold. Price: $299.99

250GB Kinect Holiday Bundle

The Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle features three great games, Kinect Sports 2, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon. It also includes 1 Month of Xbox Live Gold. Price: $399.99

Despite the MSRP, Xbox Live boss Major Nelson says retailers will be offering $50 off each bundle from October 13 until January 4, 2014.

Given new gen tech is out those prices are horrible. I expected better holiday prices than that (or at least more value): with maybe that current price model as a stand-in after the holiday rush. As a consumer this turns me off, as a gamer this is an insult. Sony - your turn.

I won't even factor Nintendo, as they already disappointed me on a collector's stand point with Wii-U Zelda bundle.

The fact that there will only give the 360 support for another three years instantly puts me off from getting one. YES three years is quite a long time, but I expect support to be there for as long as Microsoft are around.
