Oppo Find 7 superphone finally official with 13MP camera that can take 50MP shots, 2,560 x 1,440 display, Snapdragon 801
The device has seen all kinds of teasers and leaks over the past few weeks, but the Oppo Find 7 is finally official.

As expected, the Find 7 will actually come in two models, the Find 7a (Find 7 Lite) and the standard Find 7, which a premium version.

The Find 7a has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a 2800mAh battery. The premium model has a 5.5-inch quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display, 3GB RAM, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, 32GB internal storage and a larger 3000mAh. Both have Gorilla Glass 3, a microSD slot (expandable up to 128GB), LTE, MaxxAudio plus Dirac HD audio enhancement and VOOC rapid charging promising "zero to 75 percent" in just 30 minutes.

Both devices run on Android 4.3 (with Oppo's Color OS 1.2 user interface) and have 13MP Sony CMOS sensors that can take 50MP shots thanks to Oppo's image signal processor dubbed Pure Image 2.0. The device takes 10 quick shots, picks the best four, and combines them into a 50MP shot (8,160 x 6,120).

Finally, the phone has 4K video recording at 30fps, slow motion video at 100 fps, 32 second long exposure, HDR-capable GIF creation and some of those features can even be used with the powerful front-facing 5MP f/2.0 camera. On the design end, the phone has a full "titanium-aluminum alloy frame crafted with nano-injection molding" and five layers of thermal coating to dissipate all heat. The phone also has a "pulsing skyline" notification light (pictured below).

To summarize, the phone has an out of control spec sheet and excellent design. The phone can also use CyanogenMod if you don't want to use the company's user interface. The 1080p model goes on sale next month for $499 and the premium model goes on sale in May for $599.

Thought this phone was going to break the 1k price point, anything Oppo makes is not cheap. For good reason they always overbuild, I know there Blu-ray players are very highly praised. I think if it where not for the competition of Apple and others keeping there high end phones in the 4-6 hundred dollar mark price it would have been more. It seems like a great phone with lots of capabilities and great hardware, I don't think Oppo will disappoint.
