Apple wants Taylor Swift, others to exclusively stream their music on Beats
Apple has unleashed their hefty checkbook in an effort to bring exclusive music to their new Beats Music streaming service.

Among the hit makers approached by Apple are Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Florence and the Machine, each of which have reportedly been offered millions to partner with the service.

Jay-Z's new rival high quality FLAC streaming service Tidal has been making similar bids, with reports circulating that it is offering up to 3 percent of the company and $3 million in exchange for exclusivity.

Gaining Taylor Swift could be a game changer as the artist recently, and very publicly, shunned Spotify and streaming services in general claiming they did not respect musician's value.

For Apple, a company that has $180 billion in cash, paying to gain marketing for a service that is dying to differentiate itself seems like a small price to pay.

And if the artists succumb this this nonsense then they're just as at fault and money grubbing.

Do this......and I'll go out of my way jacking music just to spite Beats Audio and said jagoff, greedy artists.

There is NEVER a reason to isolate something like music that sooooo many enjoy, to just one place.

Oh and BTW, while I like Taylor Swift's music, she herself is young, dumb and full O cum and has no clue about much of what's going on around her.

I commend her genuine nature and community involvement though.

I agree and Taylor swift and some other artists have been very vocal on the practices of some music download services or streaming services not being fair to the artists or the fans/customers so somehow I doubt she would sign this exclusive deal.

Taylor might be young, but she doesn't strike me as being stupid. Hell if were to suggest anything to her it would be she should hire some people to have my own streaming service and cut out the middle man. I learned that from Benny Hill :)

I can't disagree.
