Are you struggling with 'Bi-phonal Displeasure Disorder'? Try the HTC One M9
HTC has released a strange video this week, aimed at the smartphone duopoly of Apple and Samsung.

The ad, which mocks current pharmaceutical commercials, says users should move on to the new HTC One M9 if they are struggling with the fictional disease "Bi-phonal Displeasure Disorder": "SAD (Samsung Affective Disorder)", and "iOS (Irritable Operating System)."

Now, the diseases do have a cure - 'Cellami' (metalidone boomsoundide), but you don't need the medicine if you have an M9, because "your phone is the best."

    Just one question:

    WHY?

HTC phones while strong in build quality, probably because they have really been consistent with using metal frames unlike the Galaxy series, are super last in specs, flexibility and overall happiness from the customer.

Perhaps had they made more profound changes in their devices like between the M8 and M9 and allowed for removable batteries and micro sdhc cards, they'd be doing better.

Talk about a washed up company.

Not washed up yet...they will be if they don't stop making crap...but it is theoretically possible that I might buy a phone from them in a couple years. I very much doubt I will be buying a blackberry as long as the sun keeps rising in the east.

I have the M8 (last phone was a Galaxy S3)...I actually love it. The front firing speakers were the big selling point for me (tired of cupping my hand behind the rear of the phone so I can hear audio). I can use a microsdhc card in it (it pops into a tiny little slot on the top right side), but I still hate that I can't take out the battery.

I'll buy an HTC again for sure (the battery thing was why I didn't consider them when shopping for my S3, but front speaker > removable battery).
