Star Wars Battlefront is a huge hit

As if it was ever really a question, we now have proof of how big a hit Star Wars Battlefront really is.

EA's blockbuster has sold about 12 million copies since its release in late November, generating over $600 million in revenue.

Gaming industry analyst Michael Pachter reported on the figures in a client note and its hard to fight the figures given that Battlefront was the third best-selling video game of the holiday season on Amazon, behind only Fallout 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The game has certainly been buoyed by the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which has cruised to $1.5 billion in sales in just 3 weeks.

Battlefront is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC and can be found at a discount to its $60 MSRP.

A shame its a horrible game with tiny bit of content for the asking price, it should have been free since its nothing but a DLC platform....

Limited choices, limited outcomes, REPETITIVE play. Nothing what-so-ever that's intricate. Weapons and moves all limited to what the game wants you to deal with.

I read that previous Battelfront games were more able to be customized and more fun with more detail in the playability.

Also read from MANY that this game is played out after several hours. SUCK! I want at LEAST 30 hours MINIMUM from any game that's 60 bones.

Well they admited they where targeting the 10 year old demographic...its stuff like this, Arkham Knight and no BWC on consoles that are pushing me away from buying stuff.

I couldn't agree with you more my friend. PC gaming is all I do. Occasional visit to a friend's with an Xbox or PS4 but that's it.
