The tech giant had been accused of violating patents with its Siri voice tech, with the suit claiming that Siri was really created at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and then licensed to Dynamic before Apple introduced it in 2011 with the iPhone 4S.
Under the settlement, Dynamic Advances will receive $5 million immediately and the other $20 million after conditions are met. Apple will receive a patent license in exchange.
